Scientific Advances

  • Scientists study biomechanics and the basic science behind athletic injuries.
  • Researches write journals and their peers read over the information. They also have national meetings to discuss their research.
  • Scientists study the characteristic changes of the muscles, because muscles tend to be smaller after they are torn, due to lack of use.
  • Sports medical researches use new novel biomechanic tools to evaluate the patterns in which the injuries occur and reconstruction of the muscles.
